Mini Cruise Santorini & Ios

Departure  from Vlihada Marine (southern part of Santorini).

We will cruise along the Red Beach, the White Beach, the rock formations of Akrotiri (cape), where you can admire the different lava layers of Santorini, the Faros (lighthouse) at the Southwestern part of the island.

Then, we will be able to see the Nea Kameni and Palea Kameni islands, the only two volcanic island that are located inside the caldera, owing their existence to the volcanic eruption of 1570 bc. We have the opportunity to walk up to the crater and also swim at the Hot Springs (Zesta Nera), where the water is green and yellow due to the sulfur and iron. 

Stop at the traditional island of Thirasia, the only island inside inside the caldera, consisted of  Santorinian Soil. It was separated from the rest of the island whne the first eruption took place. Its beaty will amaze you. It’s very interesting seeing also the way of life in Thirasia Island the way Santorini used to be 20-30 years ago. 

After one hour (aprox.) we will arrive at Ios Island which is located, northern of Santorini. We will visit the southernmost village of Ios, Maganari, a traditional, colorful, with not so many tourists, fisherman village, where you can feel the nature of Hellas. Fresh fish, local specialties and deep blue waters are longing for us.
